What discounts are available on PASS PRO products?
PASS PRO offers discounts on the full PASS PRO Review Program available for the CFA exam at Levels I and II and for the FRM exam.

You will receive the discount at the time of purchase. Simply enter your code in the discount code box on the purchase page, where it says "If you have a discount code, please apply it here". Any price changes will immediately take effect on this page. You can only qualify for one type of discount: either the CFA Institute Bookstore code the Buddy code or a Corporate Discount code. Discount codes are not applied to your account, they just change the price at the time of purchase, and the discount code that gets used is the one which was entered last. This means you can apply one code at a time (if you have more than one code at hand) to see which one affects the price most, and then go for that code/price.

How can I get a discount on PASS PRO™ if I buy books from CFA Institute Bookstore?
If you have spent more than $150 on CFA Institute-recommended books from CFA Institute Bookstore (www.pbdbookstore.com), the official CFA Institute Bookstore, you will receive a $100 discount off the PASS PRO Review Program.

What is my CFA Institute Bookstore order number (P.O.#)?
If you bought your books on the CFA Institute Bookstore online, you can find your CFA Institute Bookstore order number - P.O.# - on your order confirmation, or in the email you received from CFA Institute Bookstore entitled "Order Information". This number also appears in the shipping invoice that you received with your books. You must enter your order number - P.O.# - on the purchase page, where it says "If you have a discount code, please apply it here". Important note: the CFA Institute Bookstore order number should be a number like '00 3xxxxxx' or '00 4xxxxxx'. Enter the seven-digit number starting with either a three or a four and ignore the two zeros at the beginning. If you cannot find this number please fax your proof of purchase to +1 877 718 8061 along with your email address - we will manually process the discount for you and inform you by email.

Why doesn't my CFA Institute Bookstore order number give me discount for PASS PRO Notes or Questions?

CFA Institute Bookstore discount only applies to people who purchase PASS PRO review program, which contains study notes, questions, mocks, study plan, and discussions. With this discount we are effectively reimbursing you the cost of the study notes since you have chosen to use the textbooks.

If you bought your books on the CFA Institute Bookstore online, you should have received a number in the confirmation email that looks like '00 3xxxxxx' or '00 4xxxxxx'. This number also appears in the shipping invoice that you received with your books. Enter the seven-digit number starting with either the three or the four and ignore the two zeros at the beginning. What is the Buddy Code and how does it work?
The Buddy Program is a referral scheme enables you to pass on a discount to your friends for purchase of PASS PRO products and also earn PASS PRO credits for yourself.

How the Buddy Program works
If you buy PASS PRO, you can then use your Buddy Code to give your friends and colleagues a $25 discount when they buy the PASS PRO Review Program. In addition, you will receive a $25 credit to your PASS PRO account. The Buddy discounts and credits are only available for the purchase of full PASS PRO Review Program.

How to recommend PASS PRO to your friends
To recommend PASS PRO, give your Buddy Code to your friends and tell them to enter this code in the discount box on the purchase page. Please note - you must not post your Buddy Code on auction websites or discussion forums.

How to use a Buddy Code that you have been given by a friend
If a friend, who is already a PASS PRO user, has given you a Buddy Code, you need to enter it on the purchase page to receive a Buddy Program discount. You must use the same registration details when you buy PASS PRO to take advantage of your $25 discount.

Does PASS PRO offer corporate multiple-user discounts?
Corporate discounts: These are available to employees of firms that have signed bulk user discount contracts with PASS PRO. Ask your training co-ordinator to find if your firm has this discount, email PASS PRO at info@passpro.com or call +1 866 778 8017 (toll-free in the US).

Do I get discounts as a returning user?

PASS PRO offers several opportunities for existing users to earn credits:

  1. by responding to surveys,
  2. by referring friends to buy PASS PRO, and
  3. by participating on PASS PRO Discussion forums. These credits can be used against the purchase of any PASS PRO programs.

Do I need to be registered for the exam to purchase PASS PRO™?
No. Anyone can purchase PASS PRO™. However, the license will expire 12 months after the purchase date. If you intend to use PASS PRO™ to test your current level of knowledge, and help decide whether or not to register for this year's exam, remember there is a deadline for registrations (http://www.cfainstitute.org).

What is the Guarantee policy?

If the User of the PASS PRO™ Review Program for CFA® does not pass the CFA® exam, s/he will be eligible for an extension of their PASSPRO™ license by a further 12 months, free of charge.The User must provide written proof and their result by fax to +1 877 718 8061.

What is the price for tutor support?
There is no additional charge for tutor support that comes with PASS PRO. Our experts regularly visit the PASS PRO forums to answer any questions from users. Priority is given to users who have purchased the full PASS PRO review program.

Which currencies do you accept for PASS PRO™ purchases?
Our prices are quoted in US dollars, but you can chose to pay in euros, pounds sterling, or US dollars on the credit card processing page. We can only process American Express cards in pounds sterling.

Do I need to know my candidate ID to purchase PASS PRO™?
No. We ask for candidate numbers, so that we can approach CFA Institute after the exam and obtain our overall pass rate. In conjunction with our user survey, we use this pass rate to enhance our program and fine-tune users; performance feedback.
